Review of chapter "Chapter One" from maxthehobbit
Review:
That is funny in a different way than usual. Most of the time your stories bring a smile to my face. This story had me laughing out loud and once I even lost my breath. Usually takes a lot to make me laugh that much.
Comments from author:
Thanks...I think it was the line, 'I come!' and so on and so forth that had me laughing for about ten minutes.

I did a reprise of this scene in 'The Slayer of Verona' which I think is better.

Cheers,
D.

Review:
That was many levels of disturbing. Poor Will is turning cartwheels in his grave over it, I'm sure. And it doesn't help that I think I was completely missing something with the "already" thing. And, I hate Kennedy. But anyway . . .
Comments from author:
Okay this might be a British thing I don't know; In British COMEDY Jewish characters intersperse their speech with three comments; 'Oy-vay', My-life' and 'already'.

These can be mixed together; "My-life already." Or used as individual exclamations.

This is a bit old fashioned nowadays in this age of 'political correctness' but I wanted to make some thing of Willow's Jewishness and I thought this was funny.

I think Bill would have liked the 'joke' he was a funny guy!

All the best,
Dave T.

PS: Sorry you hate Kennedy, she has many redeeming qualities. For a start she risked her life to save Willow, I hate to say it but that's more than Tara ever did! See episode 'The Killer Within Us' I think it's called were Willow turns into Warren.

*gigglesnort* Oh, this was priceless! Hamlet is my favorite, ever considering doing Angel as Hamlet? He's pretty good at the whinging. ;-)
Comments from author:
Now that's an idea. I was thinking of doing Hamlet at some point. Have to see how the mood takes me.
Dave.
