Review:
Are you gonna comment on the difference between armour for men and armour for women? I believe the colloquially accepted term is tankini.

EDIT: I know I'm a bit of a nerd for mentioning it, but you should look up the chest piece "Warrior's Embrace" and see what it looks like on a female character.
Comments from author:
No, because from what I have seen in WoW, that isn't the case. A chestpiece that covers the entire chest on a male character covers the entire chest on a female character as well. Sure. it's shaped different because, lets face it, men and women are shaped different.

EDIT: LOL...I never even noticed that one. Ok, there is ONE piece...but for the most part...lol. It looks RIDICULOUS!

Review:
When I read the tag line I thought 'cool' - warhammer.
Then I read it...

Tried to get past the Buffy/Xander thing. Couldn't. Kept gagging. 'Nuff said about that.

Buffy as Horde? No. Full stop.
Soon as she found out about who the Tauren were allied with.
That would end it. Forsaken? Orcs? Trolls? All things that prey on humans?
Just no. Especially Xander. He'd see them as monsters.
Frankly you gloss over that the horde IS the horde.
That despite the oversimplification, IS the evil faction of the game.
I know your trying to show them as more then monsters, and that Buffy and Xander can see that.
But you have in no way shown them even discussing helping 'monsters' against humans.
Buffy and Xander are NOT going to side against humanity so easily.

You've done the equivalent of having them fall into the hands of an 'honorable' German army unit in WW2 instead of the SS.
When their camp is attacked by some very pissed off Russians who are not willing to give any quarter.
Buffy and Xander decide that because of THESE Russians actions the Germans are the good guys?
Not letting them see the context that the Germans invaded THEIR country and committed countless atrocities against THEM.

If you wanted to stir up questions on who is the 'monster' you damn well better show the other side too.
Since you don't allow Buffy and Xander a valid choice.
I can't find fighting for the Horde valid either.

And just a little bit of stumping.
If you call yourself Willowfan, how come only 1 of your stories appears to be about Willow in any major way????
Where's the Willow Love?!!!
Comments from author:
I have to respectfully disagree. I know that the Orcs and the OLD Horde were responsible for near wholesale slaughter, but that is just that...OLD Horde. As in demon controlled. Under the leadership of Thrall, who had EVERY right and reason to HATE the Alliance, the Horde has changed. Thrall has worked VERY hard with the other Horde races to make a lasting peace with the Alliance. And they CAN work together. The Wrathgate showed that, with Highlord Bolvar Fordragon and Dranosh Saurfang fighting side by side against the Scourge. It wasn't until the traitor Grand Apothecary Putress attacked BOTH forces that the whole thing was undone.

And the Horde is NOT the evil faction. I would say that there IS no "evil" faction. Each have their flaws. As for comparing the Horde to Nazi's, i think you REALLY need to examine the lore a bit closer, and more objectively. The Alliance, humans in particular, are the ones who show traits of racial supremacy and the desire for greedily expanding their borders. ALL of the races in BOTH factions have flaws and strengths.

I am truly sorry that you do not like the story, but I will not change the way I have written it. Is it Horde slanted? Yes, I admit it is. I play Horde and in particular, Taurens. Do I think the Alliance have a race problem? I do. I feel that they are of the mentality of "Fur and Fangs? KILL IT!!" I am also hoping that the war can end, and I have great hope that it will but not until FAR into the future...perhaps Wrynn's grandson and whoever is leading the Horde at the time...if you read the prequel to Cataclysm, you start to see a small, glimmer of hope between Baine Bloodhoof and Anduin Wrynn.

Ah well, I digress. This is an inappropriate forum for this kind of debate. I have written it like that because I have written it like that. I am sorry you do not agree. I will go my way and you can go yours. Thank you for your review. Again, sorry if you didn't like it, but I am not changing it.

Juuuust one question...
What classes are Buffy and Xander in that world? Loving the story. It made me laugh, logging off from Azeroth, my hunter triumphantly bonded with her new fox, only to see the alert for this story in my email. ^_^

Review of chapter "Moving Forward" from payday
Review:
It's coming along great. I like that Buffy and Xander have built up quite a reputation with them and it shows that they are valued and that even though there human they can still be treated good and it looks like they are seen as equals. It's sad that the humans of Azeroth can't do the same and just see them all as monsters. I'm glad that faith will be coming in, I've always liked her and if somebody would of shown that they cared for her and be her friend she probably wouldn't of made the choices she had. I always hated how Willow treated her and can't wait to see what happens between the two.

Review:
I like this story. Very interesting.

But at the end, in the Buffy!Verse; DID THEY NOT KNOW XANDER WAS GONE? They didn't even mention him. Some friends they are. Don't they care?
Comments from author:
They did notice, but I don't think I convayed the time very well. Time in Azeroth is going MUCH faster than time in Buffyverse. Xander and Buffy have been gone almost a year, by their reckoning. The gang was home from the tower and their disappearance in that scene. So to them, Buffy and Xander have only been gone an hour at most. I hope I explained better this time. Thanks for reading!!

I am eager to see that "more" you are working on. I am also curious to see how humans who aren't crazed fanatics that believe that some undead can look like live humans (the nutters)react to the pair of humans fighting for the Horde.

Review:
The writer in me is digging the story. The WoW player in me is giggling every time you describe something from the game where Buffy and Xander turn in a quest, or enter PvP and my mind translates that into the exclamation points, question marks and the two of them being flagged with the Horde logo overhead.

I'm curious to see how Buffy and Xander react when they discover the morality curve of the rest of the Horde races.
