Review of chapter "Like Something Out of Science Fiction" from HMaxMarius
Review:
And, ya know, such events flowing to her hoped for conclusion still would not negate her comment in the Movie:

"Nigh on a year I had nuthin 'tween my nethers taint been run by bat'tries."

I will quite admit to enjoying this story and hope future chapter/ficlets get added.

Lovely! I got a little misty-eyed with Kaylee there at the end. Discerning, indeed!

Enjoyable story. I would love to see a continuation; perhaps a pov from the enterprise's end, as suggested by another reader.

Review:
Oh, delightful! I can definitely see Kaylee being both fascinated by Data and discerning of his feelings, in her matter-of-fact way (and it wouldn't disturb her a bit if she got a chance to try out the 'fully functional' bits of her new friend, either, I guess!).

So glad you wrote a second chapter for this, and especially for the little touches like Deanna and Inara bonding over tea and elegant conversation, while Zoe and Worf get along fine without much need for words, etc..

Review of chapter "Like Something Out of Science Fiction" from Cutiepie
Review:
A wonderful addition to the story, but you realize that you now NEED to show us the other side. What does the crew of the Enterprise think of the whole thing? Just how much did they find out about the Alliance and everything? I am fairly sure that Picard et al will want to make it a priority to "clear up the misunderstanding" about Earth being destroyed/abandoned/whatevered. Which then makes me wonder if it was a misunderstanding or if it was intentional, and if so, why the lies? Since they (Serenity and all) are human, what does the Prime Directive actually cover in this case? Would the Alliance be considered a "lost colony" that the Federation would try to reclaim? That would have the potential of either making Mal and crew's lives much easier or ever so much more difficult. Please ponder it and let us know?
