Review of chapter "Salt of the Earth" from twlight
Review:
I am still of the opinion that your early chapters were not evil as they stopped at good points, some of the later shorter chapters, now those were evil but as I haven't read this in such a long time I didn't have to wait for an update. I do have to wonder though about a few things. How on earth did Dru get into SGC? Also were Xander's friends told about his true parentage and how did they react? Oh yeah, I love this wonderful wonderful story.

Review of chapter "Salt of the Earth" from LadyCarpathian
Review:
Excellent story. Enjoying the sequel so far. Just 2 small details......
The first..... In the author's notes, you mention a story, Lady Ra's First Prime. But unlike the other story mentions, this did not have a link. Where might I find this story?
The second may have already been answered. If so, I apologize. But... Why hasn't ISG2 been updated in months?
Sorry to be a whiner, but I found myself laughing my ass off with this series and very much want more!
Thank you for your patience.

Happy writing!

I got distracted and forgot that TTH existed. *sheepish* I have to review everything before writing more.

Kind of a sudden, anti climax ending.
Comments from author:
it felt done and I saw no reason to drag out the ending. I may go back and re-write the ending but mostly I think I'll stick to writing the sequel.

Review of chapter "Laws of Combat" from DieselDriver
Review:
I took #18 to heart. I like to have a goodly supply of ammo on hand for emergencies and found that a box of 22 long rifle hypervelocity rounds, 50 per box, about 2 cubic inches is a very good way to keep a LOT of ammo in a small amount of space/weight. It's very effective too. CCI Stingers are my favorite. In a 10/22 they make a very potent defense round. For instance, I shot a coyote at about 200 feet, in a running away shot. The bullet penetrated all the way up to it's throat and it died 10 feet from where it got hit. No more preying on my goats!

Heh, This is crazy. But then you write the coolest craziness. I'm impatient to see where you end up with this. I hate it when the real world intervenes and keeps me from reading.

Review of chapter "Queen" from DieselDriver
Review:
Hey wait! I thought Tok'ra were good Gou'ld. Like Selmak and Sam's dad.
Comments from author:
Tok'ra are, technically, good Goa'uld but the facts are they just don't enslave their hosts, its a partnership, this doesn't mean that they or their hosts have the best moral compass or are even very nice. Good catch though, slavery is abhorrent to all Tok'ra whatever else they might be. Tok'ra is literally translated as "against Ra".

Review of chapter "Trial by Fire" from DieselDriver
Review:
You know, there's one ultra powerful alien left out of everything I've read here on TTHM. I've never seen mention of a "Dowd". Since you bring in Q, why not a, or, the Dowd. He was pretty cool even if clearly insane. No more so than Q to my thoughts. I REALLY liked that episode of STNG. Such gall, Worf likes gall in a person. I have to wonder what would happen in an encounter between Q and the Dowd. Would it be like Hulk vs The Thing, where Hulk is just so much stronger that it's coocoo? Which brings to mind another question, who's stronger, The Hulk or Superman?

Oh yeah, just thought of something else. Are the "Neelek-mo’tie" any relation to the "Moties" of Larry Niven's "The Mote in God's Eye"?

Here's a good explanation of the Douwd episode: http://en.memory-alpha.org/wiki/Douwd
Comments from author:
The only Dowd that come to mind are a type of Dark Elves so you need to be more specific on that if you want an answer and a possible appearance in the sequel, which is already started.

As for the "Mote in God's Eye", god its been years since I've read that but no, no relation or at least no purposeful relation. I'll have to look back over my work to remember where you got the quote for a better reference and answer to that.

I'm honestly struggling with the sequel and the fact that I haven't managed to integrate Xand's love life yet. Any suggestions would be very helpful and much appreciated.

Review of chapter "Teaser of Loneliness’s Revenge!" from DieselDriver
Review:
I know I'm a stick in the mud about grammar but it's my bugaboo. Anyway, I found this to be redundant: "move just a bit more faster". Should be "move just a bit faster" or a bit more awkward but still not wrong: "move just a bit more fast." Better would be "move just a bit more quickly". See how that rolls off the tongue?

"They were able to move just a bit more quickly, as well as being stronger and healing faster."

What do you think?

Also, the only lyrics I found with those words was a song by "Smash Mouth" and a song by "McFly". They sure didn't sound like Christian songs to me.
Comments from author:
I came to the conclusion that I misheard something and will never find it again. As for the grammar, feel free to tell me I need to fix something, it might not get fixed until a lot later but its very helpful.

Review of chapter "Tests" from DieselDriver
Review:
That's really funny. Xander is a combo of Jack and Daniel... LOL

I still want to know what the mouthful of each other's blood does to or for Dru and Xander.
Comments from author:
just gave you the answer in the other review. Besides book 2 is already started and something might show up in that story. This is really my first attempt at a long, truly intergrated and complicated story/series...

Review of chapter "Blood Adoption" from DieselDriver
Review:
Hehehehehehehehe! I want to see Xander give Dru a "mommy" hug... LOL So if he lets her drink a swallow of his blood and he drinks a swallow of her blood, he'll be a vampire won't he? or is it something like Blade where he only goes halfway and can still be out in sunlight but gets faster, stronger and immune to the Go'uld? Maybe his blood will poison them like slayer blood in some of the other fanfics.
Comments from author:
A full adoption would constitute her turning him since he's human but as it is this type of adoption magically links him into the bloodline without undo harm or physical changes.... usually.

As to the hug idea... hmmm....
