Review:
While I appreciate the rawness of your depiction of addiction (er, didn't mean to rhyme there, sorry) and the decent quality of your writing mechanics and style, I just have to say that your Xander is so thoroughly OOC that the entire story is better suited to the original collection at fictionpress.com. The character you're writing is compelling, but it ain't Xander.

bro,

i'm sorry i didnt review this before. great work and you really captured the depression of xander. on screen, we saw a xander just holding anya taking in the information of buffy laying on the ground. we have no idea how he felt, and you seemed to fill that void for me. so, good work, my friend. keep up the steller writing.

ps--sorry, forgot to add this. so far it sounds to me more like a "requium for a dream" xover than dogma

i really like this. the fact that it is xander bothers me to no end, because i like him a lot. i like, however, how you captured the mentality of someone suicidal. when I was in the hospital i met a boy who had o.d.'d on heroin 3 times; he just needed too much to get high. i think that this xander is between that boy and a suicidal. drugs just are a fact of ife for him. it's the reason, or lack of one, to exist between highs that matters.
