Review of chapter "whole ficlet" from dreameralways
Well, if he read the file he would see that she turned herself in when she wasn't even a suspect. That would have to strike him as really odd behavior for a killer. Additionally, there's no evidence in her file that she's a serial killer (a term generally reserved for those who kill for their own purposes). Her file would likely read more like that of a hit man. She had no sexual involvement with the men she killed and they didn't really have much in common. There also was really no true MO outside of that she got close with her kills. The escape from prison would have to be really confusing as well as the fact that there have been no reports of any more murders by her in many years.

Review of chapter "whole ficlet" from willowswelt
Great hook I would love to read more.

I really enjoy that Willow/Council did not erase her record because it is a) overdone, and b) screwing with memories and using that kind of magic has always turned out so very *well* (please not the sarcasm) in the BtVS/Angel universes.

In answer to another comment about Faith not having killed more than two people. I am pretty sure I remember her killing more, especially on her rampage through LA on Angel (but maybe they were only really badly hurt?).

The way she killed the deputy while an accident would seem to anyone on the outside pretty psychotic - I mean ramming a wooden stake into a victims heart?! That must count for something. Plus, she was probably seen alot around disappering/dying people while in Sunnydale and later on working for/with the council. Plus being seen with a lot of under-age runaways in a town detroyed a few weeks later ...

Review of chapter "whole ficlet" from Gideon
We need to know too! We need to know how he finds Faith, and what happens after that? Does Faith let him take her in? Does the council get her off? More please :)

Review of chapter "whole ficlet" from bucksavage
A one-shot? Are you kidding? This is one hell of a hook for a damned good story. I hope you continue this further.
Comments from author:
It's part of a series. There will be more. The first 2 parts are one-shots because they happen earlier in time than the rest. The next part will probably have multiple chapters. I already started writing it. ;-) Hopefully I'll have time to write more soon.

Thanks for the review. I'm glad you like the story. :-)

Thank you! Yes, at some point Spencer will find out more. :-) I already have an idea for another ficlet or maybe even a longer storyline. ;-)

Review of chapter "whole ficlet" from ShayneT
In answer to a previous response...Well, she also dramatically escaped from prison and it's possible that some of the deaths she was in the vicinity of (killing vampires tends to leave bodies if you can't get to them in time) may have been blamed on her. She may have been travelling across the country by motorcycle, caught on convenience store cameras and the like as one of the last persons to see a whole string of victims alive...
Comments from author:
Good point. Vampire/demon victims could be added to the list of Faith's alleged murders, too. Thanks! :-)

Review of chapter "whole ficlet" from Waverly
Love this, hope you write more! Great insight into poor Spencer. Maybe this incident will help convince the council they need to do something about Faith's record.
Only one thing, serial killer? Faith's only been confirmed as having killed two humans, and one of them was an accident. So is she being accused of some of the many deaths in Sunnydale or what? Cause two deaths one of which was accidental doesn't seem enough for the CM team to be asked in.
Comments from author:
Thank you! I am planning to write more when I find time.

I usually think Willow would have magically done something about Faith's record, but for the sake of this story I decided that she didn't.

Just 2? I thought there were more victims and when I read Faith's page on Buffy Wiki it sounded like there really were several killings. At leats it says that the Major ordered her to kill a few people. I don't think he would have liked Faith as much as he did if she failed each time. Once I get Buffy season 3 on DVD I'll rewatch it and count. ;-)
But even if there were just 2 murders (with one being an accident) there could still be more alleged murders in Faith's file. Who knows how many times Faith has been seen killing something that might have looked human to witnesses...
So, no matter how many deaths there actually were for the sake of my story the BAU will have her listed as a serial killer, just so that Spencer can find her file now and for future involvement of the BAU in Faith's case. ;-)

You're very welcome! I'm glad that you and so many others like this storyline. I didn't think so many would. It's an anusual pairing after all.
