Review of chapter "Chapter One" from texaswookie
Review:
I so hope this story is going to get some attention soon. It's still great.
Comments from author:
I've got the next chapter about half-done, but my muse has been ignoring it for a while.

Maybe this will motivate her to help me complete it. ;-)

Review of chapter "Chapter Five" from MickyLee
Review:
In the ongoing effort to provide positive reinforcement to your muse, I once again must complement you on another fine story that I hope to see more of as the mood/inspiration strikes.
I have to admit, I don't recall the "Swim Team" episode well enough to remember what was important about that computer disk the janitor threw away. And, on a side note, was that a reference to "Thriller" turning the janitor into a zombie?
Comments from author:
Thanks for the encouragement, it's much appreciated. ;-)

The floppy disk contained the translation of the gypsy curse Jenny Calendar had made, in an effort to re-ensoul Angelus. With it gone, and the Scoobies not even aware of its existence,, there isn't any way to bring Angel back, and Buffy has no reason to even consider not staking Angelus.

And yes, it was an allusion that the janitor was zombie-fied while listening to 'Thriller' and wasn't aware of what he'd done. ;-)

Review of chapter "Chapter Five" from twlight
Review:
Oh wow. I love that Xander is able to learn things so quickly. I do hope that Willow doesn't die because of this attack. I do have to say that I am very very glad that Kendra is still alive and that Dru is now dust as that gives me hope that Giles won't tell Angelus how to open the statue because the only reason he did on the show was that Dru tricked him. I am as always eagerly waiting the next installment to this wonderful wonderful story.
Comments from author:
Things are developing fairly rapidly now, and a lot of people (and not-people) are going to be quite surprised by what's coming down the pike. ;-)

Review of chapter "Chapter Five" from Harbinger
Review:
Fantastic fight scene! Nice to see that Xander is still using his brains instead of just barreling on through.

Oh, and just a little point to raise, when texaswookie mentioned the fast forward thing that TM did, TM mentioned that there was the chance that he could break all his bones if he used it to much. It's just that when someone gets powers like this there has to be a downside.
Comments from author:
Having the fighting skills available to match his determination makes it far easier for Xander to be combat effective in any sort of confrontation, and being able to duplicate moves he's seen in movies and TV shows can only enhance his effectiveness. ;-)

And yes, as texaswookie pointed out, moving twice as fast as normal will also put an increased strain on his muscles, tendons and ligaments, as well as his bones, so unless Xander somehow develops a healing factor like Wolverine possesses, that's not something he's going to be doing in normal combat situations.

Review of chapter "Chapter Five" from dorkmoon
Review:
In “Daredevil #177” his mentor Stick said that anyone is capable of developing a “radar sense” (three-dimensional analogue of sighted vision) through training, and that Daredevil’s exposure to radioactive waste merely woke the latent potential that exists in all humans.

If true, then Xander as a super-polymath ought to be able to develop a “radar sense” with a week or two training instead of months or years. Not only would this let him operate in total darkness, but Xander’s ability to instinctively learn new skills would expand greatly due to sensing anyone’s heartbeat, breathing, scent/pheromones/perspiration, etc. with a thirty-foot radius of himself.

The Buffy-verse has its own version of Stick’s monastic group called The Order of the Nanjin. In “Blind Date,” Wolfram&Hart hired blind assassin Vanessa Brewer.

Two other comments:

One. Daredevil has a superhuman sense of balance on par with Spider-Man (according to the Marvel-wiki). Also, his superhuman sense of touch gives him greater muscle control which allows Daredevil to maintain peak strength, agility, and reflexes without needing to exercise as often as normal human because he can get the maximum benefit out of his work-out sessions.

Two. In “I Fall to Pieces,” health guru Vinpur Natpudian authored a book “Anything’s Possible: the Secrets to a Long and Healthy Live Revealed”; I hope Giles lends Xander a copy or Xander buys it in a bookstore. The book a combination of physical and psychological techniques that’d let someone attain total self-mastery of their body. Natpudian’s original intent was to go others a means to enhance their vitality and longevity. For Xander, reading “Anything’s Possible” might give rapid healing like DEADPOOL or Wolverine as well as the ability to survive decapitation and dismemberment like Lorne the Host from Pylea.

Good points, all of them, and something I'll keep in mind for the future.

I've got the next several chapters outlined and am working on the next one, so I've got what'll be happening for a while already laid out, yet.
