This one is great too, but you missed an opportunity with the Supers to have the obvious pointed out. The demons that need killing are the ones killing and eating folks.

True enough! Thanks for reading!

gosh you are making my day. So much updates and I love them all.

About the review about hearing them talking. I don't say their hearing is as high as Superman's hearing but when they are talking on the roof they should hear it. What good will enchanted hearing be if they can't hear that far, the roof isn't that big. It wasn't across the block or on another roof. I didn't understand that they couldn't see them with their eyesight, because a Slayer can see in the dark.

Your mom was right. The old batman and Robin did kill not if they could avoid it but they did kill.

I agree with both Faith and Buffy you can't keep that kind of evil in prison. One: they are mostly immortal, how many prisons will they need putting them away, two: they are to dangerous to keep alive, three: how long will it take for somebody to experience on them again, four: they don't know what they are dealing with. So they need to know what goes around and comes around but dealing with them is the job of the Slayer not them. Doesn't mean they can't fight them but lets face it there are so much species who are so dangerous even for the Slayer. So if it can be avoid they have to leave them to the Slayers, same goes for the Slayers the other way around.

well I'm done. Oh one thing love it that Ucle Jim adopted Faith as his cousin, does Faith goes by Summers now.

I don't know, Wonder Woman kind of had some buttons that once pushed. She would go short of hardcore on certain villians or gods. I don't think she liked Darsied a whole lot. Or she wouldn't have had she been there for Superman's first fight with him. At least the aftermath of it all. I know she wanted to put Hades in the ground. If it was possible to do so that is. Aires too. ) Batman always stuck me as if he would kill a vampire. Well at least if the vampire was trying to kill him or someone else anyway. But yes its true Batman had a very strick set of rules he went by. The rest of JL Unlimited I can kind of see being non killing. Flash never had a need for it. Considering his villians, were pretty much lame next to everyone elses. Women Woman could have gone either way in my opinon. John faught a nasty war and watched everyone around him die. I could see him understanding slayers better than most. I think some of the other members wouldn't be so quick to judge. At least not Doctor Fate. Nor Zarana, they both knew the mystical side of things pretty well. Nice one shoot. I really enjoyed this. Buffy was right, certain things have to die. Other wise they turn you and everyone else into dinner or worse. Faith also had a point. It was a good counter balance. Over all I really liked Buffy/Faith and Uncle Jimmy's interactions. Was very good stuff. Was just a very fun read. I thank you for it.

Thanks so much! I know I don't know the DC canon super well. Mostly just cartoons and various movies, really. It's super convoluted, and I got confused the one time I did try to get into the comic books. So it's good to have others who are well versed in it to point this stuff out. I am super glad you liked it, too. Also, a lot of it was that it was from Buffy and Faith's POV. So some bits there were just them using prior experience with other hero groups and slotting these guys into the same category. So thanks again for reading and reviewing! ^.^

SO glad it's Buffy and Faith who are the "Wonder Twins" in this instance (I still have horrible "Super Friends" flashbacks from my misspent youth in the 1970s!).
Comments from author:
Hahaha! Yeah, I never cared for the Wonder Twins. At all. But I still watched it every Saturday morning. Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Nice, concise story. I agree with you that DCU canon is... not. The *original* Batman (jeez, am I old) killed plenty of crooks. Then he's the 'never kill anyone' hero. Then there's AzBat. (Don't ask.) But not all the JLA is no-killing-ever. In fact, in canon Wonder Woman pretty brutally killed Maxwell Lord (he had it coming). But Maxwell is alive again, because DCU canon is... not.

And the previous reviewer is right: the JLA has probably killed plenty of Parademons, so it's pretty vague how Buffyverse demons like Fyarls and Polgaras would be treated. Vamps? Beats me. They're already dead bodies, right?
Comments from author:
Bwahahahaha! I like that. DCU canon is... not. Cracked me up. Might be because it's past my bedtime.

Yeah. I have a lot to learn in this fandom, I know. My mum keeps telling me that Superman was a dick long before Young Justice made him be an ass to Conner because of what he did to Kara. And that Batman was as much of one because of one DC-AU where he really ruined Dick Grayson's life. And that yeah, he killed a long time ago, but they revamped that image because that was an *antihero*, not a *superhero* thing to do. /sarcasm. She got lost in the early 70's though, I think, so I can only rely on her so far. I try to stick with the newer stuff because I can pick one iteration and say, "Hey! This is the universe I'm going with right now."

I have to ask about AzBat. And then I shall google. I'd like to see WW and Buffy and Faith go to town on some demons... ripping heads off and bowling with them... maybe I'll try a bit of crack in that vein.

Thanks for the review! I won't learn what I'm doing right or wrong if people like you and IronBaron and LadyHealer dont' correct me. ^.^ Seriously. Because it helps to learn, yeah? Yeah.

Entertaining though there are a few things I feel need to be noted.

1. While slayer hearing may be better than the average humans, I doubt it would surpass Superman's level of hearing. Superboy, a clone of Superman, once tracked down Tim Drake by listening to people talking throughout Gotham and picking out a single conversation with Tim's voice in it from the millions of people who live in Gotham. Despite this level of hearing, Batman has often been able to remain hidden from Superman's senses when he wants to.

2. While the Justice League has never really been in favor of killing, cases like Darkseid's occasional Parademon invasions show that there are time when they do kill (unless there's some prison out there filled with the Parademons they defeated).
Comments from author:
Firstly, thanks for the review. I don't pretend to having a very good understanding of DC canon. Hence why I tend to only pay attention to the bits I do know. Your second point is good information for me to have. Thanks!

Your first point, however... I never said they tracked the Bat. But if they're (in this case, I thought it was obvious that it was Nightwing) muttering softly, enhanced hearing would catch it. If Batman was saying something, softly though it may be, even he'd be heard by enhanced hearing. However, Batman never said a word, so it wasn't him they were talking about.

I do appreciate the information sharing. If you should read and review any of my other stuff, I urge you to keep it up because I like to know this stuff. I just find the DC canon (and Marvel, too) excessively convoluted. Not that I don't try to research if I'm going in depth in a story. I know I'm often OOC, and a lot of the time it's intentional, but sometimes it's not and it's nice to have reviews like this one to tell me I'm full of shit. ^.^ So thanks again!

Cute. I like it. Certainly like the family connection! And you're right in some regards, some JL members might have issues about killing demons. However I think some members wouldn't. I want to say Green Arrow would be one of them, but I could be wrong... I need to go bug sis about that. :) She would know.

Again, excellent piece!
Comments from author:
Thanks for the review! Yeah, I got that from another review. ^.^ I still think, for such a dark and menacing aura, Batman has some severely rigid standards and morals, but I get that he'd likely kill the demons if he knew they were evil. Thanks again!
