Nice start Troy! Looking forward to seeing what you do with this!

I do wonder if those tanks of yours might not be helpful if we can transit them through the Hellmouth to support the 'Dinochrome Brigade' Bolos and the 'Glorious Dead' in interdicting the flow of demons from other dimensions (see ReadsAlot and Pythia's related chapters).

I've added you to the Battlefront list.
Comments from author:
Compared to a Bolo, a Henschel is a LIGHT tank. Destroyed within a couple of minutes, if swarmed.

GALACTICA ACTUAL TO MT OLYMPUS

When assuming orbit keep 100 nm distance also from Executor. Ship is 17,000 Meters long. Consult with Galactica Actual and Executor Actual, Admiral Piett in command of Executor. Bring OPLAN for your forces to me at your earliest convenience on Pegasus.

Admiral Sir William Adama GCVO

Galactica Actual
Commander Royal Space Service

Not really sure how to respond to that...

Except: Hooray! I've got the 2nd biggest ship in orbit! (Assuming /Dahak/ is hanging around.) ;D

If he's asking for what we're bring to the party, would Adama like a C-5 Galaxy full of dead tree, or will electronic media do? ;)

From Galactica Actual to Group Capitan Steed

Please have GODS room built into the ship during its repairs. With the number of flag officers from allied forces, we will need a information exchange center and flag briefing room. Plans are being attached, please indicate time to complete if possible, thank you.

Galactica Actual clear

This is an interesting addition to the forces, even if the space around earth is getting pretty congested. I look forward to more.

When a call like this is received, you can't be slow in replying. As they put it on the old Underdog Show, "When The Prime Slayer is in trouble, we are not Slow. So its HIP HIP HIP, and away WE GO!"

"metal giants of the rising sun"

Voltron?
Comments from author:
groan...

I forgot that the original anime only aired in a very chopped version in the USA. The remake/sequel from which I'm going to pick the characters was released in DVD by funimation, I think.

To AndreaMaine:

Commander, USN Space Forces Command, in NavySpeak, would probably be

CINCSTARFLT

With the creation of that role in the US Navy, the operational sphere of the SeALS just expanded, and now the next generation of the SpecWarSchool will have to graduate astronaut training as well. H.A.L.O. school just got second-classed to orbital drop training (ODSTs)!

Sound cool?

*Evil Grin and a chuckle* Something tells me that Kennedy just got a lesson that she is going to remember for at least as long as she is in recovery, if not longer! Never cared for someone who thinks that they should be the leader of everything. Maybe this will teach her some humility!
Comments from author:
Well, not quite... I have a little story arc planned for her.

Review:
Interesting, very interesting, but me thinks someone from the TSAB will have to also talk to Adm. William Adama as I think as of now he's not only the Commander in Chief of the British Royal Space Service, but also the C-in-C of all Allied Space Forces. Then there's Rear Admiral Lower Half April Orenski formerly of the UNSC Navy, now Commander USN SPAFORCOM (Space Forces Command).
Comments from author:
Probably, but remember that they don't know anything about was is going on Ragnarok!Earth, and who has answered the call.
Edit: And there are some story of the high echelons of the SAB holding the Idiot Ball for quite some time.

Review of chapter "Slayer, Mages and Demons, Oh, my...!, Part II" from Rich
Review:
Not bad at all, the second chapter makes the first a lot clearer - I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that "metal giants of the rising sun" is a reference to Robotech.

Added by Rich: That's not a coincidence. Several of the mechs in the earliest versions of Battletech were based on Japanese Mecha. The story on Battletechwiki is that the company purchased the artwork from someone who didn't have the legal rights to it, which led to some legal disputes, which led to depictions of those mechs being banned - which led to their being called "the Unseen". Evidently the dispute had since been settled, so they're now "Reseen"..
Comments from author:
Actually, no. But you are close, it's mecha anime. Specifically, a early 2000s sequel/remake of one of the first mecha anime.

Although Robotech would be a great addition to this, if only to see the reaction of teh Redrock Rangers to teh Valkyries (there is a Battletech mech which is nearly identical).

Added by author: lats news that I had, was that they were still unseen, but it has been a few years since I kept track of Battletech

As I said in Eliminator "A call is sent through Time and Space for one and all to hear." Well, this time it not only went through time and Space but Dimensions as well. Welcome to Ragnarok. Suit up, Armor up, and lets get down to business. Its do or die time, no in between. We fail, ALL dimensions will fall! This cannot be allowed to happen!

This may be a dumb question, but why does Samantha Finn outrank her husband?

Thanks
Comments from author:
It's mostly fanon, but Riley going AWOL during season 4 left a black mark in his file, which has delayed his promotions.
