Duck hide? Yummy, if not cooked to crispy.

“I didn’t steal anything!” Dawn yelled, tears coming to her eyes as she saw Willow’s shocked expression. “I didn’t!”

Poor Dawn is getting all keyed up.

"Is landing as much fun?" Landings are freaking amazing. I got to ride in the cockpit of a C-130 Hercules one time while I was in the military. Here's a fun video although it looked a lot more gentle in this video than the one I was in which was on a fairly short runway. This guy greased it onto the sand. From the wheel tracks it's obvious this wasn't the first one to land there.

Someone is going to get a new one, ripped from a new spot on their body, when they all find out who's the perpetrator. Interesting word that... Rhymes with "traitor".

I want an "Albert". I wonder how an "Albert" and my Jack Russell Terrier would get along...

Review of chapter "Hedge witch" from burmafrdnow
Review:
since Slayers were around for probably 20,000 years before Wizards ever figured things out (and that is probably the lowest estimate) it is much more likely that the ancient runes and agreements would much more likely have made it clear that SINCE they were chosen by higher powers (and back then that would have meant god) that anyone that messes with them deserve what they get.

One thing that puzzled me about HP universe was its total ignoring of Religion; which is pretty stupid as well. But then again I never thought the HP universe ever made much sense.

Add that to the fact that any charter from any government would almost certainly have made it clear that the Slayers were off limits (at the very least the Council would have made sure of that) then this idea that Wizards would want anything at all to do with slayers is truly STUPID. Let alone say they needed to be hunted down and killed. The first time that would happen the Council would be all over them in every way to protect their territory.
Comments from author:
Sense and power have very little to do with each other. Considering what the Council was willing to do to control Slayers and regain control of Buffy and Faith, it's quite likely other organisations and groups would have wanted to try and take over.

The HP verse makes little sense indeed. This porbably explains the vast amount of fanfic that tries to make sense of it.

Review of chapter "Storm's end" from Dmitri
Review:
That was a very interesting and formidable story. The good guys have really triumphed at the end, and Giles proved NOT to be evil. Personally, I think that Shacklebolt had recieved the short end of the stick, not unlike the other members of the Order he really is a good guy himself, and frankly Andrew had been scared straight away from evil by Darth Willow back in canon S6, but this still can work. Looks like happy end for everyone involved, too!
Comments from author:
Thanks. Giles still has to be tried of course, to determine if he was under a compulsion, and then deal with the damage done by his actions under its influence.

It's not that long after the war and Shacklebolt hasn' t been able to deal with all his problems. Of course an outside force might be helpful or solidify the resisitance to the changes...

Review:
Oh this is just wonderful. I really love this wonderful wonderful story. I have to say that I really love how Draco's daughter changed her look to look like Snape at the end. You really surprised me when it turned out that Jamie was not a human child, as I thought that Harry and Ginny were married earlier in the story and now they are just engaged at the end so what happened? Again this is wonderful.
Comments from author:
Glad you liked it. Why restrict Metamorphmagi just to the Tonkes family? Poor Snape, his life will never be the same.

Yes, a seed of confusion I planted on purpose. Of course once Jamie is fully grown, there might be a British version of the RCTMP.

Review:
This was an excellent series! I loved all of the endings, although I would have liked to see what eventually happened to Giles.

But, other than that, well done!
Comments from author:
Thanks. I'm working on the judgement day story, but I need/want to deal with some other things in this verse first.

Once again you leave a cliffhanger lightened with humor at the end of the chapter. That's a really nice touch.

Review of chapter "Chapter 9" from DieselDriver
Review:
Well, that was a pretty vile chapter. Nice to end it with a funny line like that. I appreciate it. It lightened the mood considerably. I know things are bad but that is a very good way to tell the story.
Comments from author:
There's a lot of darkness in the world, I fear. And I didn't want to end the chapters on dark notes every time.

Review of chapter "The Heir of Slytherin" from DieselDriver
Review:
I guess I was pretty much expecting Giles to be bad but I thought it would have been taken over mentally rather than evil himself. The juxtaposition of roles in this story with Ethan and the others with Giles is really quite interesting. I don't think I've seen Ethan as a "sort of" good guy before. Great fun so far.
Comments from author:
Ah, but the story is not yet done...

Ethan has his limits. It just took a while to find them.
