Review of chapter "In An Antique Land" from GoddessNyx
Review:
So far so good. What are the Valar thinking about the two of them? From nowhere and with great power. Hope there's more soon.

Review of chapter "In An Antique Land" from Jorrie
Review:
It's a very fascinating concept and I have always adored your writing/story weaving ability. It's a shame that you haven't updated this story in such a long time. I quite like the idea of Illyria having a sort of love/fondness for Wesley to the point that she'd turn back time to unmake Fred's death among other things. I'm honestly very curious to see how this story would develop. I really hope you do pick up on it again. I'll be on the look out in case you do! I can't wait!

Review:
I wouldn't have necessarily thought I'd like this series, not being familiar with AtS outside of fanfic, but really, they intrigue me greatly. If you happened to be inspired on these again, I'll be one of the people reading. Of course, you seem to have a great many interesting worlds, not just this. My explorations shall continue.

Review of chapter "Look On My Works, Ye Mighty" from ShyBob
Review:
Your Wes and Illyria characterizations are impeccable. It's obvious how much effort you've put into this tightly-woven piece. This has the right flavor for a LoTR crossover, for sure. This is part of my Very Most Favorite of all the series that you've written.

A great premise with tremendous opportunity. I hope you elaborate ont exactly how they will affect the course of events in LOTR and how that in turn affects the world of BTVS.

Review of chapter "In An Antique Land" from RevDorothyL
Review:
What a very Wesley-appropriate decision to make at the end (proving once and for all that only the external scars have vanished, leaving all of the emotional wounds that have made him the dangerous and sometimes tragic man he is still in place).

And is there just the tiniest trace of Fred-like self-sacrifice in Illyria's sollution -- to take out the Wolf, Ram, & Hart at the expense of her own self ever being worshiped on earth?

Thank you for this incredible tidbit, but... *facepalms* You kill me with these little snippets of story with so much grand possibility in them that they leave me yearning to read the rest. I swear, it's like hooking someone on a drug and then withholding it! Just please tell me that there will be more of this in the not too distant future?
Comments from author:
*grin* I do have a lot of series languishing from long ago, don't I? I'm trying to nudge a bunch of them forward this month, dust off the two- or three- or four-year old dead ends and shove them forward again. Hopefully, the plot bunnies will retain that forward momentum this time. =)

Review:
Whoa! Nice tale in a nice series! I am definitely going to be waiting with bated breath for the next chapter.

I guess that Illyria has absorbed more humanity than she thought, in offering Wesley a way to prevent Wolfram and Hart from coming into being.
Comments from author:
She is really, really, really peeved at them for killing him; that's her motivation. Her world already sucked, but she'd finally learned to attach a tiny bit of value to her present situation, and then they took that from her, too.

But yes; she has absorbed enough to know how to frame it best for *him*. =) Glad you're enjoying it!
