Review of chapter "Tommy - Pt. 1: Party Girl" from bradsan
Review:
I give up hope that this story will be updated but I can't get it out of my head. So I write it down even when you won't read it.
What will Bond think of Giles or the Scoobies when he finds out that everybody in Buffy's life betrayed her more than once. Tried to run her life how they seems to thing she has to live it. That her own sister who's she died for made the worst betraying you can ever get. Throwing your own sister on the streets without any weapon to defend herself. Buffy was lucky that she didn't came across an enemy that night, Will he want to cut them out of her life also. He doesn't understand in what world they lived and never can because it's so different from his world.

They were teenagers fighting a big war where adults would wet their pants and would run so hard they would brake a world record to get away from it. Buffy isn't stupid she knows who she can trust and who she can't. She knows their good things and their bad things and the same goes the other way around.

Wish you would write more but that's a wish that won't come true. Sad if you think about it, such good start.

Evil author = one who doesn't finish stories they start.
And this is a good story, so please stop being an evil author.

I'm still looking for updates :). And something tells me whoever kidnapped Buffy, is DEAD. Anyone who comes looking for Buffy is going to have more people with blood in their eyes than anyone SANE really wants looking for them, crawling in the windows and doors >:).

Also wandered in because of Methos's art. Amazing depth and texture to your Buffy characterization. If the show was Buffy for kids, this is Buffy for adults. Great flow of descriptions and dialogue. Can't wait to see the three-way battle royale for "who gets to rescue Buffy?"--Bond, Faith, or Willow and the rest of the Council. I have faith in Faith (ooh...I need a bumper-sticker).

found this story because of Methos Art for it and I really like it, a shame the last update is from 2006 and I hope that a few reviews will inspire you to write more. I would love to see who is crazy and/or stupid enough to kidnap Buffy.

Review of chapter "Tommy - Pt. 1: Party Girl" from purrfus
Review:
Found this story due to Methos' art.

He is right, its really a good read. The way you brought them together, M's speech about him never being told...it works so well its hard to imagine any other scenario.

Bond's reaction to the various people and his internal musings really pack a punch.

Is this going to be a Buffy/Faith romantic or spiritual pairing?

Edit: Art is at http://www.tthfanfic.org/Story-11355-113/Methos+Fanart+for+my+favorite+stories.htm

(Thanks for the comments)

There's art?

The original goal was for it to be the beginnings of a romantic pairing - by the end of the story. We'll see what happens when I actually get back to it.

Note: This story hasn't been abandoned. At some point I do expect to return to it, though at this point it doesn't look like it'll be any time soon. Sorry.

Review of chapter "Swiftly, Silently" from MarcusRowland
Review:
I really don't know why I never reviewed this - it's a very interesting story premise, and I'd love to see more of it.
Comments from author:
Thanks :-). I was going through a Bond phase at the time - watching the movies, reading the Fleming originals. But I hit a block/wall with introducing the villain.

Couldn't write one at the time grandiose enough to belong in a Bond story. At some point I'll figure it out and get back to it. Can't leave Buffy in mortal peril forever.

Review of chapter "Swiftly, Silently" from (Current Donor)RngrThorne
Review:
Very interesting. I look forward to the explanation of why Bond looks younger than he should. And his reaction to Dawn should be interesting. Curious, though, the spells the monks did should have, if she's genetically his kid, changed his memories too. If I understand it properly, that is. Maybe the spell had a limited range or strength or something.
Comments from author:
Thanks for the comments.

How the spell worked is never adequately explained in canon. Buffy seemed to be the only one who ended up with two sets of memories related to Dawn and that was because of that spell she did. We also don't know how the spell affected people outside of Sunnydale.

There must have been more than memory changes because there was that social worker who showed up so there must have been some record of Dawn in California state records. At least a birth certificate.

I really like this. I hope it continues when the muse strikes! I like the Faith-Buffy-Dawn dynamic, and I found Giles very plausible. Bonds observations were fascinating too.

Thanks for sharing!

I was wondering if you are going to finish this story because it has been almost two years since the last update?
Comments from author:
I haven't forgotten about it but it hasn't made it to the top of my priority list yet. It'll get there. As soon as some other stories I'm working on are finished.
