Summary: Harmony Kendall is a vampire. Summer Roberts is an autumn. Who's going to walk away with that great dress?

Harmony sneered at the girl who cut off her path to the most perfect royal purple dress. It was a surplice dress, it was silk and it was on sale.

Harmony had to have it.

"Excuse you, much?"

The girl looked back at her, holding up the purple dress to inspect it. With one dark eyebrow arched, the girl looked Harmony over from head to toe. "You're excused," she replied as she finished her appraisal of the blonde.

"That's my dress. It was made for me."

The girl didn't look impressed, pushing her dark hair over one shoulder. "With those shoulders?"

Harmony's eyes widened and she looked at her shoulders before snatching a hand out for the dress.

It was pulled quickly out of her reach. "And, besides, you're such a summer it kind of makes me sick. I mean, you're in LA. All I'm saying is: colour. As in, in your skin." She waved a dismissive hand at Harmony. "Maybe some low-lights and, come on, step out of the pink-and-purple pallet. I don't care how Valley you are, there is just no excuse for that."

Gaping, Harmony dropped her hand.

The girl smiled and pulled a pale orange dress off a nearby display and thrust it at Harmony. It was short, with an empire waist and wide, rumpled ribbon straps. "Trust me on this, Pinkie. Those shoulders need all the help I can give them."

With that, the diminutive brunette turned on one designer heel and strutted her way to the sales counter
