Chapter One

Disclaimer: I don’t own Buffy or Charmed and related IP’s. Buffy belongs to Joss Whedon, Charmed belongs to Constance Burge.

A/N: AU near the end of Dirty Girls. Screwing with the Charmed time line to suit my purposes so don’t know what episode this takes place after.

“C’mon, let’s go!”

Xander moves quickly, getting Kennedy out of harm's way. He starts to follow when he feels someone grab him by the hair. As he is turned, he comes face to face with Caleb, the First's Avatar.

"You're the one who sees everything aren‘t you? Well, let's see what we can’t do about that."

Xander's heart speeds up as he sees Caleb's hand come up. He braces himself for the coming pain when a hand shoots out and grabs Caleb's wrist, stopping it cold. A slight twist and the sound of snapping bones along with Caleb's scream echoes in the vineyard's basement. Everyone stops, practically in mid-stride, turning toward the sound expecting the worst.

Caleb falls to his knees, clutching his arm protectively as he looks up at his attacker. He is a handsome man with dark hair and piercing eyes. He is dressed impeccably in a suit and carries himself with an air of authority. The look of disgust on his face riles Caleb.

“How DARE you interfere with my lord’s work?” Caleb growls at the newcomer.

“Belthazor?!?” Xander exclaims.

The man sighs before turning toward Xander.

“What did we agree we would call each other in public, Lavelle?”

Xander rolls his eyes at the man. “Sorry, Uncle Cole.”

“That’s much better. So, what have you gotten yourself into this time, Xan?”
