I do not own Buffy the Vampire Slayer nor the Addams Family. This fic is not written for profit.

Yet another Halloween fic with a bit of a twist....matched set costumes. Enjoy

Thanks to my beta Ingenue. Your help is always appreciated.

Alexander Harris, Xander to his friends, had a shit-eating grin on his face as he looked at Cordelia Chase. Oh, he had won a bet and now got to choose her costume for All Hallows' Eve. What was even better was that he had the funds for a decent costume and had gotten a deal on a matched set at a local store that had just opened. The owner had been delighted with his choice and was holding them for him till he could get Cordy to the store.

Cordelia frowned. Xander was up to something. She knew it. He had that damn grin on his face and she could only imagine what humiliations awaited her; but she was a Chase and a Chase did not welch on a deal or a bet. So she squared her shoulders and made ready to face the firing squad. However, she did permit herself to glare at him with her arms crossed under her breasts. "Fine, dweeb, you won," she growled. "You get to exercise your total lack of fashion sense; woo for you."

Xander's grin grew wider even as she leaned in close to him. "However, if I see a 'Slave Leia' outfit or anything else inappropriate... consider yourself warned."

"Oh no, no 'Slave Leia' outfit for you, Queen C. Although it is a bit revealing."

Her face darkened quickly and her eyes flashed as if she was deciding where to tear him a new one. Xander just smiled at her and held his hands up in a placating manner. "Less revealing than an Elvira costume, at least. It's black... and hey, other than some hair extensions you don't have to do that much to actually wear it."

Xander took her hesitation and skeptical expression as a cue to continue the fast talking that was his specialty. "It's part of a matched set I managed to find at a local shop. You get to see me wear a blue three-piece suit and tie. And no, no gag tie, a normal tie. So let's go pick up our costumes and see if Ethan managed to find an appropriate mustache for mine."

Xander's grin stayed as Cordy walked with him. This would be the best Halloween ever and not even Snyder could complain about the costumes.

That Monday life in Sunnydale seemed to be the same, though Cordelia's outfit was much darker as she held court with her sheep. She stood and spoke like a queen on her throne as she addressed them about the renovations undergoing a certain Crawford Street mansion.

"Oh the renovations won't tale too long. While it does need some work, the mansion has a certain 'je ne sais quoi' about it we would like to keep."

A figure in dark blue seemed to teleport to Cordelia's side. He grabbed her hand and started to kiss his way up and down her arm. Harmony was the first to realise it was Xander. Xander in a suit. Xander in a suit with a pencil mustache on his face. Xander in a suit kissing his way up and down Cordelia's arm. At this point many of the sheep experienced what could be referred to as a 'blue screen of death.'

Cordelia Chase did nothing but smile warmly as Xander's hand crept its way up as if the thing had a life of its own. Oh, she loved this part about him since Halloween. She felt like giggling as he kept up his antics.

"Cordy, that was French! Quick, say some more. Pie à la mode, Eiffel Tower, Napoleon Bonaparte!" he moaned.

Cordelia laughed lightly, her smile never wavering. "Now, now, dear. There will be time enough for that... later. We do have school now."

A series of THUNKS punctuated their flirtation.

Both turned to see where Harmony and many of the sheep had passed out. Looking up they could see the shell shocked looks on the faces of many others, including a blond Slayer and red haired witch who were staring as if at a train wreck.

Xander shrugged and looked at Cordelia. "Was it something we said, Cara mia?"
