Ethan Potter was well known for his like of pranks.

So much so, that people soon became terrified of some of the more … drastic ones.

In particular, the Dursley's were his favourite targets, and nobody understood how even half of the pranks had happened.

Except the Dursley's.

They knew it was magic, for it could be nothing else.

Of course, every time they tried to explain it, it was laughed off, saying that they had a very imaginative nephew whose pranks were well thought out, even if some of them were a tad dangerous.

That had been when Ethan was seven.

Now at ten, he was working on a rubber snake that had animatronic components in them.

Nothing complicated, just basic things found in some dolls that allowed it to wriggle and such.

He planned on setting it loose in the zoo, when the reached the reptile house.

So of course, he was very surprised when, after setting it down, the large python thanked him.

And he ended up getting a wicked plan in mind.

Switching python for rubber snake, which, under the low light, looked like a regular snake, he carted it off back to Little Whining, and there, he set it on his Aunt and Uncle.

It was to that scene, with an ambulance carting away Vernon Dursley, who'd had a heart attack, that a dumpy looking woman and a stern looking woman came across, and saw the screaming Petunia shouting at a completely unrepentantly grinning Ethan Potter.

With a grin that may as well have belonged to the cat that ate the canary and managed to frame the dog for it.

Okay, short one here, since Ethan really doesn't strike me as much of anything, and we only really see him, what, a few times in the entire series?

Anyway, using James Potter as the basis for this one, a devil-may-care attitude, and yes, this will be more of a humour than an action story, but I think my humour is a little different than others, so I'll leave the prank ideas up to other people.

Anyway, Ethan loves chaos, and he comes off as a completely uncaring bastard when it comes to people he causes chaos for, except for children and babies, who he wouldn't do anything against.

That said…

Can anyone say Chaos Magic, and random crap happening when he says nonsensical words, just to get a reaction, for his own amusement?

The End?
