Disclaimer: I wish I owned Buffy, and I would love to own the titans. But the belong to people with a lot of money. Me I’m just a poor, poor college student.

Yellow Light

Dawn had thought that it would be fun to get away from the slaying and the watchers and everything. That was why she decided to go to NYU. There was a slayer in New York, but she mainly hung out in queens. She took classes, had friends, and kept busy, but every now and then, found that she had an urge to go slay, so much time around it she had gotten used to the exercise. This was one of those nights.

Unfortunately it was also Tuesday. Now Dawn would usually only go to one or two cemeteries. She would stake a few vamps and go home happy. But tonight she found herself surrounded. By no less then ten vampires. She knew she was in trouble. She staked the first two, but the rest knocked her to the ground. But just as they were about to pounce a clear alto voice rang through the night.

“Now now boys, don’t you know that that is not how you pick up a lady.”

The vamps stopped their assault to stair a the girl who had appeared. She was dressed not to differently from dawn in jeans and a leather jacket. She had blonde hair that stopped at her neck, and her clear blue eyes, seemed to pierce the darkness. That was until they started to glow yellow. As did the girls hands, which were now raised into the air. Then the ground started to shake. Then huge chunks of earth flew out of the ground and began to orbit the girl, that was until she pointed at the vamps.

The vampires didn’t stand a chance as the very earth began to fight them. After several loud crunches the rubble returned to the ground and the dust settled.

The girl approached Dawn, and helped her up.

”Are you okay?”

“Yeah, Thanks.”

“No problem. Your Dawn Summers right?”

“Yeah, how’d you know that?”

“Your in my Geology class. I’m Tara Marcov.”

“Oh yeah, you’re the teachers aid right?”

“Yeah.”

“I know there is another place I’ve seen you before though.”

“That’s cause I’m with Teen Titans east.”

”Oh yeah, I met one of the Titans in Jump city once.”

“Ah, well they don’t really like me much.”

“How come?”

“I look like someone who betrayed them. It is a really long story that involves time travel and parallel worlds.”

“I like weird stories. How bout we get some coffee and share long stories. Mine might not involve time travel but it should make for something to do other than homework.”

“Sure, why not.”

A/N: This sorta coincides with my other titans one called Green Light. And another that is almost done called Blue Light. Seeing a pattern. As for Terra, I both watch the show and read the comics, this one is gonna be in the comics section because the Terra II. If you want to know more about Terra 2 do a google search, you’ll prolly find her.
