Review of chapter "XII" from Phidan
Review:
And another little twist to keep us off-balance! I admit I haven't seen Lou Grant in many years, so I didn't question Billy's behavior, but now it makes so much more sense. Sigh. (That's a happy sigh.) It's like riding a roller-coaster, and the thrills just keep on coming. You are the master of tricksy fanfic, and I salute you (and keep watching for more chapters of anything you're posting!)

You killed Angel?? Well, that is taking the story in another direction. Strange fic, and I wish I saw some episodes of that show now. Keep them coming.

Review of chapter "XI" from Phidan
Review:
Oh my, I was expecting the dusting but not quite yet -- you are a sneaky guy, and I was shocked when I read that paragraph! And I'm looking forward with great anticipation to seeing what comes next, both with Justine & Holtz's plans, and what happens when Willow and company figure out why Angel has disappeared. I hope you have a few more chapters ready to post soon, the suspense is tremendous.

[southpark]OMG! You killed Angel! You bastard![/southpark] Thats was a bit of a shock. Way to hang the cliff.

Good idea of something to do to the Hyperion, and good explanation of why Billie is helping Holtz. Also good to read this after the long break between chaps.

Review of chapter "XI" from CPTSkip
Review:
Oh my god! You dusted Angel! Now that that is out of the way, I am really enjoying this story. I was always amazed at how forgiving of Angelus the whole Scooby Gang was, especially at how they didn't forgive Faith. Like you said, Angel is just a box of dynamite waiting to go off when he loses his soul. I liked Justine. The whole "I know Angel and his clients are gay but I don't care" caused me to break out in laughs. Now I can't wait to find out what Holtz evil plans for Connor are.

Review:
Let's see Holtz, Justine, three of his cronies. No problem getting the five humans needed to bring a vamp back to life. I'm sure Wolfram & Hart will be willing to cooperate and provide it since they wanted Angel to end up on their side not dust.

Oh My God! You killed *bleep!* (We gotta stop reviewing each other this way)

So Billie let one psychopath talk her into believing that Angel was a psychopath. I had hoped she'd figure it out earlier.

*small neep noise coming from floor*

Dust? But I... but she... neep.

(Always said I didn't like Billie, but this? Was not expecting that in the least).

I adore this story and fail to see why you've not gotten more reviews.

The dynamic of Billie trying to do what she percieves best for Willow in regards to Angel via Holtz definately has my attention and I look forward to reading more of it once it's ready for print.

Oh, you of the sneaky mind -- bringing in Justine in the guise of a relative is masterly! I'm finding this story fascinating, with the slow development of layers of intrigue. Your tone is so different from that in "Family Issues", which was much funnier and more slapstick, but the continuing characters remain well-drawn and the ones from Angel and Lou Grant are accurate as well. As always, I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with it -- I haven't yet been disappointed by any of your stories.

Justine? Oh, that just can't be good. Grrr. And I can't believe how closed-minded Billie is, considering she is supposed to be the head of the newspaper. But then again . . . =]

Is there a reason why planting Justine as Willow's cousin would do anything? She knows Angel to well to be swayed by anything she said. Is this some setup where the bad guys come up with some great scheme and fall flat on their faces because they don't know what's really going on?

Hmm, an interesting addition. When she originally showed up on AtS I actually remarked to my husband how much she could be related to Willow. Wonder how she'll fit in. Still loving April's voice, and can't help but be curious to see whether she really does need to be immune to something in the future.

I find myself growing increasingly uncomfortable with this story, but I'm going to hold onto my hat and trust that you have the story well in hand and I'll get over my worries. Best of luck writing the next bit.

chapter 9/part 10: well, the story of their lives is continuing, after the earlier action adventure part. I'm guessing the next mystery (or even saved for the next story) wil be Willow's father. If you're taking requests or sugetsions on that please let me know.
One of the fun things about fan fiction is that the pacing of the stories can be different than what is expected in commercial fiction. And you can have more ups and downs in the aciton. I'm glad to see you exploring that with good characterization and language use.
